Zutesmas: Year Zero
Greetings friends and family of all shapes and sizes,
I didn’t think Zutesmas was going to happen this year but Tom from Crowbar really has set “the gold standard” on how to host safe and sound shows (during this dystopian nightmare).
That means safety concessions will be made…
Zutesmas this year will be a TICKETED event (link available soon), where masks are mandatory (unless you are boozing/shooting up), and the venue will be at 1/3 normal capacity with more spacious seating than usual.
*There have been upgrades to the facility regarding air circulation and AC filtration.
***No staff has gotten covid (amazingly) and no attendee has traced it back from attending a show (even after 20+ shows)
(Below are more links and articles about what Crowbar has done to protect its staff and fans)
All of that being said, we totally understand if you can’t make or have reservations about the safety. Even a lot of players that usually do the gig won’t be able to make it this year; but I KNOW its still going to be a special year musically.
***More information to come but the new date is January 9th.
We look forward to laughing and celebrating music, friendship, and Greek love (Eros, Agape and Philia) with you all.
Zutes embodied the spirit of rock n roll and his energy will never leave us. Rarely does a day goes by that we don’t carry the weight. When the best amongst us leave, we have no choice but to step up the journey and boost our lust for life in remembrance.
Be safe. Hugs.
-Matt
– All shows will have a maximum capacity of 100 guests
– We are encouraging everyone to buy tickets in advance online at http:/bit.ly/crowbar-tickets.
Most shows will sell out because of our reduced capacity and we don’t want a large group of people gathering outside the club waiting to buy tickets that aren’t there.
– Temperatures will be checked at the door
– All shows will be seated with a few socially distanced standing areas
– Masks are required to be worn unless you are seated at your table
